While browsing through the website of the Animabasauri festival I stumbled upon an interesting studio. Not merely an animation company, but a company specialized in styles development and character and background creation for animation feature film productions. As how they describe themselves: 'a centre of multimedia creativity offering both graphic and visual design solutions'. Their services include anything from the initial artistic creation to final design and supervising the work. They also give lectures internationally.The studio starts in 1989, already in the international circuit when founder Carlos Granger took a place as designer and creator of characters in the London production company 'Amblimation/Universal pictures' from Steven Spielberg. Since then the studio has a prominent place internationally, offering services to prestigious production companies like Dreamworks, Warner Bros, Aardman, Sony pictures, Universal pictures, Laika entertainment, etc. and participating in movies like Corpse Bride, Madagascar, How to train your Dragon and Kungfu panda.
